This is a faithful reproduction of the Honda NSX GT2 Team Kunimitsu, which took its class victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans.
While this car has already been produced, this time it is modeled with the retractable headlights raised for night driving.
It also recreates the cut-out tires that were fitted to cope with the wet conditions, which began raining about an hour after the start and continued until the finish.
The wing has a race-like carbon fiber finish, but it is made by pressing two etched parts together, with a carbon pattern decal applied and a clear coating applied on top to create an appearance that is just like the real thing.
The headlights, a key feature of this model, are only reproduced in the raised position, so they do not have an opening/closing mechanism. However, attention has been paid to details such as the shape of the casing, projector-type lenses, headlight reflectors that add depth to the car's appearance, and the difference in height with the front cowl.
