[Newly Developed Dry Nonwoven Fabric Filter] The HKS Super Air Filter employs a density gradient structure, gradually shifting filter density from coarse to fine layers relative to the airflow, ensuring progressive and reliable capture of dust particles of various sizes. The optimized fiber configuration also reduces airflow resistance. Despite reduced airflow resistance, the dust collection performance remains equal to or better than our previous model (capturing over 95% of standard dust particles in our testing). It reliably captures dust and delivers clean air to the engine. Not only does it have low resistance when new, it also maintains that low level over time. Conventional pleated sports filters capture everything from large particles to fine particles on their surface. This narrows the air passage, resulting in a short period before clogging occurs, even though the initial airflow resistance is low. However, the HKS Super Air Filter uses a density gradient nonwoven fabric, gradually shifting the filter's mesh to gradually capture larger particles first. This ensures a clear air passage, resulting in excellent long-life performance.
