The ninja motif is chosen to reflect the G-SHOCK identity of "NEVER GIVE UP" and the image of the tough ninja who once served powerful shoguns and feudal lords and engaged in a variety of activities. The base model is the DW-6900, with its trademark front button and three eyes. This time, the design is inspired by the ninja running technique, which is said to have been used by ninjas, and features shuriken, a projectile weapon said to have been used by ninjas, on the dial and case back.
