A woman stands alone in a commuter town shrouded in morning mist: Mita, the housekeeper.
The Asuda family to which she is assigned loses their mother in a sudden accident, and the widowed father begins living with his four children.
One morning, 49 days after the mother's funeral, Mita, the housekeeper, arrives with the family altar, a mysterious presence who silently performs the household chores she is asked to without a smile.
As the problems inherent in the family begin to surface, and the family is on the verge of falling apart, Mita takes unimaginable action...
After the sudden loss of their mother, a family on the brink of collapse is saved by a perfect fire and an emotionless, drastic remedy.

He formed the band "AIKE BAND" in 1985 and went on hiatus in 1988. Since then, he has been actively performing overseas.
In 2001, he won the Grand Prize in the Animation category at the Japan Media Arts Festival organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. His work "BLOOD THE LAST VAMPIRE" won the Shinro Ofuji Award at the Mainichi Film Awards. At the 2006 Japan Media Arts Festival, his anime "Kamichu!" won the Excellence Award in the Animation category.
In 2007, his commercial "ASIENCE ~ Hair is a Woman's Life" won a Gold Award in the Television/Cinema category at the London International Awards.
His work "Mobile Detective 7" won the Kids & Young Award at the International Drama Festival in Tokyo 2008.
He is also a versatile composer who has worked on film, TV, and anime.
