If the jumbled "Chinese disco fusion" feel of "Shanghai Honey" and the lyrics that are a bit soft or innocent lead you to believe they're a mischievous teenager or an Okinawan idol band, then you're missing out! Their power to condense what they find interesting into a single song, even in the chaotic world of a six-member band, almost overflows the album's scale. Their strength as a loud/fusion band is unmatched even among their peers, and while the techno influence is understandable, this debut album also incorporates the strength of classic hard rock and pop music.
