Product Introduction
The PLATZ 1/72 JASDF F-35A Lightning II 303rd Squadron Plastic Model TPA-54 is a 1/72 scale plastic assembly kit replicating the newly deployed and operational F-35A Lightning II of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). The kit uses parts manufactured by Italeri, an Italian manufacturer. This kit recreates the F-35 Lightning II of the 303rd Squadron, which began deployment at Komatsu Air Base in April 2024. The squadron's large "Fighting Dragon" insignia, based on the dragon said to inhabit Mount Hakusan, is not to be missed. The latest stealth aircraft's style is accurately modeled, not only in shape but also in panel lines. Details such as the cockpit, landing gear, and weapon bay interior are also meticulously reproduced. The weapon bay hatch can be assembled open or closed, allowing for different expressions. This kit features the legendary dragon insignia on the JASDF's latest fighter jet. This 1/72 scale F-35A Lightning II plastic model assembly kit measures approximately 214mm in length. Italeri parts are included. Markings replicate those of the 303rd Squadron, which will be based at Komatsu Air Base from April 2024. Aileron and rudder parts remain movable even after assembly. The weapon bay hatch can be assembled open or closed. This product requires assembly and painting. Glue, tools, and paint are required separately for assembly and painting. "Plastic Model" is a registered trademark of the Japan Plastic Model Industrial Cooperative. This product does not include glue, paint, tools, or batteries. To enjoy this plastic model safely, it is important to build it in a well-ventilated area, away from high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight. Take care to prevent small children and pets from swallowing or injuring themselves, and handle tools safely. Care should be taken when assembling and storing the model, including avoiding humid days.
