The doors lock when the vehicle is traveling between 10km/h and 15km/h or when the vehicle is shifted into "D" position. You can change the timing of the door lock to suit your preference. *For gasoline vehicles, the door locking timing is determined by reading the engine speed. Therefore, the timing of the door locking may vary slightly depending on the pressure on the accelerator pedal, but the door will generally lock at speeds between 10km/h and 15km/h. Feature 2: Automatic unlock function The lock will automatically unlock when you put the shift lever in "P"! This allows passengers to get in and out smoothly. You can also switch to unlocking when the engine is turned off. This is recommended for those who do not want to unlock the door until the engine is turned off. Function 3. Answerback light function (function can be switched ON/OFF) The first time you open the door after turning off the engine, the parking lights will come on for 10 seconds. The parking lights will also come on for 10 seconds when you unlock the car (press the unlock button once with the smart key) *This answerback function may not be available depending on the vehicle model, grade, and aftermarket parts. This is not a product defect, so you may not be able to use this function. Also, if the function is ON, the manufacturer's optional remote park function cannot be used. If you normally use the remote park function, please turn the answerback light function OFF. Please be aware of this before purchasing. Function 4. Emergency Auto Door Unlock *Activates when you suddenly decelerate at approximately 40km/h or more (e.g., from 60km/h to 20km/h or less) to unlock the doors in preparation for an emergency and prevent the risk of being trapped when escaping in an emergency. *The amount of deceleration required for normal operation varies depending on the vehicle model. Please note that this function may not function even when braking suddenly. *The function cannot be turned off. ■The automatic door unlock function during sudden braking does not apply to gasoline vehicles.
