Country of Origin: Japan Hasami ware is a type of ceramic ware fired in Hasami Town, Higashisonogi District, Nagasaki Prefecture. Due to the location of its shipping, it was also called Imari ware during the Edo period and Arita ware in the Meiji period. Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, borders Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, and, like Arita ware, Hasami ware has a tradition spanning over 400 years. Perfect for celebrations as well as everyday use.
