Since it's made of bean paste, it has never frozen. The mica has risen to its full height, resulting in an exceptionally fine, tenacious, and powerful whetstone with all-round strength. You'll never want to go back to a stone that's simply been cut and polished.
It is recommended to put it on a stand as it is sold out. The cutting is done using a reproduction of an all-steel saw used up until the 1960s, so you can feel the good old days even in the cut.
