Paulownia Wood Gift Small Size for Storing Japanese Box, (ideal Items)

This is a paulownia wood box made by our store for luxury gift items. Size: Outer dimensions: 232 x 142 x 57 mm / Inner dimensions: 214 x 124 x 45 mm *As this is hand-made, the size may vary by 1 to 2 mm. Because it is made of natural paulownia wood, the grain will vary from piece to piece. (The grain may differ from the product image.) Paulownia wood boxes are lightweight and have little shrinkage. They are also resistant to corrosion and insects. They are flame-resistant and have excellent hygroscopic properties (maintaining a constant humidity level), making them ideal for storing items. There are inexpensive paulownia wood boxes with thin lid and bottom panels made from wood other than paulownia or plywood, but this box is made entirely from 6mm thick paulownia wood (the inner side panels of the main body are 3mm thick). ●The box is designed with a double-sided spigot system, making it durable, airtight, and less susceptible to the effects of outside air. ●Although this was created as an outer box for our luxury gift items, it is also ideal for organizing small items and storing documents at home. ~Caution~ If the product is dented due to a fall or a knock, apply water to the dented area and let it dry naturally. If the dent is small, it will almost always return to its original shape. Natural wood boards are sensitive to changes in humidity, especially paulownia wood, which is soft. If exposed to dry air, the board may warp. This is especially true if you store it in a dry room with an air conditioner on during the winter. Paulownia wood boxes have side panels attached to the lid and bottom, but because the material is soft, the lid (bottom) may warp. When making paulownia boxes, we use paulownia wood that has been thoroughly dried, and before shipping it we inspect it to make sure it is not warped. However, if the wood is too dry, there is a chance that the lid may already be warped by the time it is delivered to the customer.
