2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The model is on a 1/150 scale, and the tower-shaped three-story castle tower has been faithfully recreated, with two-story bay windows on three sides and a turret on the south side. The base on the decorative stand is an assembly type kit with a built-in structure that is easy to assemble with high precision. The window lattice and railing parts are finely detailed parts that enhance the sense of scale. The stone wall mount has a pattern that makes it easy to attach the stone wall. Easy to assemble kit with color instructions. *Paint and diorama materials are not included in the kit. Odawara Castle was the residence of the Hojo clan for five generations, and gained fame as an impregnable fortress that repelled the invasions of Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen. During the Edo period, there was the domain office of the Odawara domain. The castle ruins are designated as a national historic site. As for the castle tower, drawings thought to be from the Kei period show a watchtower-type castle tower, while drawings from the Kanei period onwards show a tiered tower-shaped castle tower. The castle tower is believed to have been rebuilt during the Kanei era, but it also collapsed in the Genroku earthquake. The castle tower was rebuilt in the 3rd year of the Hoei era and dismantled after the Meiji Restoration.
