This handle was born from a request for a handle with a 115mm pitch, between the 110mm and 120mm diameters in the CRANK series lineup.
Rather than resizing the plates of the previous CRANK series, we redesigned it from scratch with a new concept that is different from both CRANK and the CRANK Feather.
Paired with the newly developed DELTA knob, we have created a handle that is the epitome of precision.
The CRANK Edge 115 compensates for the slight lack of power felt with the 110mm and the sensitivity that is missing from the 120mm, making it a new standard size for mid- to deep-range sea bream rubber and heavy-weight squid metal.
The DELTA 27 handle featured here features a triangular, thin-walled, hollow titanium knob designed specifically for a three-finger grip: the index finger is hooked, the thumb is supported, and the middle finger is supported to hold the handle.
The outer diameter of the part where the index finger is hooked and the thumb is supported is approximately φ27, with a three-sided shape that gently tapers inward.
Place your middle finger on the narrow part from the waist to gather various underwater information. When hooking, the three angular surfaces provide excellent holding power, allowing your fingers to hook in and prevent slipping out.
By thinking from the user's perspective, we explore the product's fundamental challenges and needs from an outside-the-box perspective, and refine the product while implementing intermediate solutions such as prototypes in pursuit of the desired shape.
