When I was little, a picture book arrived at my house. My parents read it to me every night.
The illustrations in the book depicted the most important moments of the story.
As an adult, I live a real story, not just one in a picture book.
To me, photographs are illustrations for picture books.
By creating picture books based on real stories, I can embrace the world with the same peace of mind I felt as a child.
When I was very little, a picture book was delivered home.
My parents read it out every night to me.
I always feel each picture teaches me something very important in the story.
And my photo works also have the same meaning as my original life story.
To me, making my own picture book is to teach myself how to live peacefully in this real world.
If I could save the heart of a "little girl" I've never met, whose name I don't even know,
I would dedicate everything to that "little girl."
A little girl I've never met... A little girl I don't even know her name...
I want to give her everything.
To save her from all the pain.
