The story begins with a slightly scary beginning, in which a little old lady living in a small house in a small village goes for a walk and brings back some small bones she finds on a grave, intending to make soup for dinner. However, the truly frightening things happen after the old lady returns home. As she puts the bones away in the cupboard and takes a nap, she hears a small voice from the cupboard saying, "Give me back my bones." As the frightened old lady covers herself with her futon, the voice gradually gets louder...
