Japanese Folktales

This collection of Japanese folktales, which I hope every child will read at least once, is presented with elegant prose and beautiful illustrations.

I have selected thirteen stories from Japanese folktales that I believe will be enjoyable for kindergarteners and first and second graders. My aim was to focus on cheerful stories, prioritizing bright and uplifting tales over dark and gloomy ones.
