This is the third installment of the popular pro wrestling fighting game series featuring wrestlers from the WWF, a professional wrestling organization based in Madison Square Garden, New York.

The story mode lets you experience one month in the WWF. It begins with owner Vince McMahon offering you a tag team championship challenge, requiring you to find your own partner. Throughout the game, you'll have to engage in on- and off-ring maneuvering reminiscent of a TV show. Various modes are also available, including "Steel Cage Deathmatch," the 30-person time-delayed battle royal "Battle Rumble," and "Special Referee Match" where you can even act as the referee. Even simple single matches offer the option of having a manager or not.

In "Create" mode, you can create your own wrestler, customizing every detail. You can create your own original face paint, mask design, and taunt poses, which can even appear in story mode. Experience the fully-showed American pro wrestling! (Koji Higuchi)
