The light is soft, doesn't hurt the eyes, especially at night — this is a huge plus. The night light doesn't dazzle but creates comfortable diffused lighting, ideal for walking down the hallway or peeking into the bathroom without turning on the bright main light. Installation is elementary: there is double-sided tape on the back. Just stick it to the wall — and that's it, no wires or drilling. Runs on three batteries.
