"Memory function" ensures that the color and brightness of the light you selected before turning off the engine will remain the same the next time you turn it on! No need to reset it. If you turn it off before turning off the engine, the next time you turn it on, press the power button on the remote control again to cycle through the following order: daylight white (6500K) - warm white (3000K) - white (4300K) - off.
