This set includes photo-etched parts for adding detail to small shipboard boats that were aboard Japanese Navy vessels during World War II, as well as photo-etched parts that recreate various deck equipment on Japanese Navy vessels. During World War II, Japanese Navy vessels carried small vessels for communication between the ship and the harbor when anchored offshore, and for transporting materials. Cutters and motorboats of various sizes were operated depending on their purpose and size.
