Product Introduction
This is a 1/350-scale plastic assembly kit of the Gearing-class destroyer USS Chevalier.
You can choose to assemble either a full hull model, which reproduces the ship's bottom, or a surface model, which reproduces the ship from the waterline up.
Enjoy the slender shape unique to a destroyer.
The upper hull's shape and side details are meticulously recreated.
The superstructure on the deck, including the bridge, funnels, masts, main gun turrets, and radar, are meticulously recreated.
The 5-inch main guns feature apertured barrels for enhanced realism.
In addition, the armament, including the twin 40mm Mk. 4 guns, quadruple guns, twin 20mm guns, and depth charges mounted at the stern, are sharply molded to create a detailed finish.
Photo-etched parts for the radar, gun shield, handrails, ladders, and ship's doors are also included.
A full-hull display stand is also included.
