Some customers have pointed out that the shim is the same color as the original, suggesting it's not included. If the bearing faces up, it's included. This is a 20639 bush with bearing, compatible with Abu Ultracast models. The bearing has a 4mm inner diameter. It's an ideal drive part with no shaft contact. It uses a 7-6-0.5 shim and a 7-4-2 bearing. The bearing is replaceable. The bearing and shim may differ from those shown in the photo. They are the same size.
Product Description: Condition: New. Name: -. Size: See photo. Material: -. Note: Actual color may differ slightly depending on your monitor settings. Contents: 1 brass bushing, 1 brass shim (6-7-0.5), and BB (STO 4-7-2) *This is an iron BB and will rust easily. For saltwater use, we recommend a stainless steel BB (DDL740 Open, sold separately). (Compatible) Classic types such as CS and CS Rocket, where the spool shaft and spool are detachable. Not compatible with C3 and UC reels. (Because it contains a BB) Even though it's an old reel (will it fit?), you're asking too many questions. Try opening the casing cap on your old reel. It's a completely different part. (How to Use) Simply replace the original 20639. Installation order: BB bushing body → shim → BB. The BB face will match the BB face. Depending on the angle at which it is attached, the BB may fall off when attached to the reel, so please attach it with the part raised up. (The reason for using the 4-7-2 BB) This part uses bearings to disperse the uneven rotation of the spool itself as it rotates left and right when the line is released.
The purpose of this is to prevent the line from rotating evenly (because the line is not evenly wound). Therefore, the click lock and the inner diameter of the BB come into contact and rotate together. Because some products on the market use 3-7-3 BBs, we occasionally receive complaints that the BB is not in contact with the spool shaft. If a 3mm inner diameter bearing were used here, the BB's inner diameter would contact the spool shaft, and the more the BB rotated, the more it would rub against the spool shaft, creating unnecessary friction. This would result in slower rotation, eventually causing the spool to wear out and become unusable. This product uses a 4-7-2 BB, so the BB's inner ring comes into contact with the click lock and does not come into contact with the spool shaft. Please understand that this is the correct solution, as the click lock and BB rotate smoothly. (Regarding Mechanical Brake Zero) When this product is installed, the BB is suspended by a 0.5mm thick shim, which means that even if the caster is tightened, the BB will float and the caster will not work. Since we originally designed this product with the idea that centrifugal braking, which is proportional to the rotational strength, is sufficient, there is no cast control. If you want to use cast control, you can either return to the original,
This will work by removing the 0.5mm shim and inserting a 4-7-2.5 BB (sold separately). (Regarding individual cases where the bushing does not fit) We inspect every item to ensure it fits into the castor coil of your CS rocket. However, occasionally, customers have complained that the bushing is too large to fit. In this case, you can lightly sand the outer diameter of the bushing with sandpaper to make it fit, so if it does not fit, please modify it. Express shipping.
