Description
KENTEX is a Japanese watch brand that designs and manufactures watches based on the concept of "high-quality watches at reasonable prices." Since its founding, the brand has cultivated its watch exterior technology and design expertise. We combine functionality and beauty with meticulous attention to detail through Japanese craftsmanship to create valuable timepieces.
KENTEX's first automatic, full-fledged GMT model. Based on the concept of "a luxury sports GMT ideal for globally active individuals," this automatic marine GMT watch is meticulously crafted and available for under ¥100,000. Based on a Japanese-made automatic GMT caliber, it features a bidirectional rotating GMT bezel that can simultaneously display three different time zones. The bezel's luminous finish provides excellent support for nighttime operation. Furthermore, a sapphire panel embedded in the bezel protects the bezel from scratches for years to come. The watch is water-resistant to 150M, ensuring peace of mind during leisure activities. The crown is positioned at 4 o'clock to prevent wrist injury, ensuring a stress-free fit that's perfect for off-duty wear. The case back features a partially skeletonized design that allows you to enjoy the beating of the mechanical balance wheel along with a luxurious embossed pattern, allowing you to appreciate the charm of a mechanical watch even when removed.
[1] The movement is the SEIKO NH34 Automatic GMT (21,600 vph, 24 jewels, second hand regulation function, date).
[2] The case is made of surgical-grade (medical-grade) SUS316L highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Despite its impressive 44.8mm size, the crown at 4 o'clock reduces pressure on the wrist. It provides a stress-free fit that does not restrict wrist movement, not only for business but also for leisure and sports.
[3] The top glass is made of highly transparent, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, ensuring excellent visibility at all times.
[4] The screw-down crown provides water resistance to 150 meters, making it safe for marine activities such as skin diving, surfing, and water skiing.
[5] The bezel features a two-tone color unique to GMT watches, is bidirectionally rotatable, and has a 24-speed rotation, allowing for the simultaneous display of three different time zones. At night, the bezel glows with a strong luminous effect, making GMT operation easy even in the dark. The bezel surface is also covered with a sapphire panel, providing semi-permanent scratch protection.
[6] The dial features a subdued, glossy half-sunray finish with a subtle etched wave pattern. The boat-shaped indexes, inspired by cruisers, combine excellent legibility with a design that exudes a maritime feel.
[7] The hands are divided into an extra-thick arrow-shaped hour hand and a tapered minute hand, ensuring high legibility. The GMT hand's skeleton design allows for instant distinction from the hour hand. The hands are coated with a strong luminous material, further enhancing nighttime visibility. [8] The case back features a luxurious stamped design of "Wave Fuji," inspired by the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji in the ukiyo-e woodblock print. The partial skeleton design allows you to view the balance wheel through a small window in the case back, allowing you to fully enjoy the charm of a mechanical watch even when the watch is off.
[9] The silicone strap is insert-molded for a snug fit, ensuring a comfortable fit.
