Each color was developed with inspiration from the camouflage uniforms worn by members of the Ground Self-Defense Force, Maritime Self-Defense Force, and Air Self-Defense Force. The yarn used for the outer side of the socks is made by slowly and carefully knitting together three strands: one 100% cotton slub yarn, which is not uniform like hand-spun cotton yarn and has thick and thin spots, and two different colored strands of Cordura cotton blend, which is particularly strong against abrasion. The backside thread is made of deodorizing polyurethane and irregular cross-section polyester with silver ions kneaded into it, providing antibacterial and deodorizing effects. Unlike post-processing, the effects last even after repeated washing and harsh use. The arch area is specially designed with an optimal compression that uses rubber thread that is stronger than the rubber thread normally used, ensuring excellent lifting function. The toe area incorporates the know-how we have cultivated over many years to ensure it fits the finger lengths of as many people as possible. The deep, firm heel prevents slipping.
