TOMIX N Gauge JNR Kiha 48 500 Series Set 98118 Railway Model Diesel Car

The Kiha 40 series is a standard diesel car that first appeared in 1977. The Kiha 48 series 500 and 1500 are cold-climate vehicles for the Tohoku region, equipped with upper-lower/lower-rising unit windows and air spring bogies.

Reproduces the vertical rain gutters located inside the car body of Kiha 48 series 515, 1520, and later. The front window glass reproduces the defroster-equipped version. Select from four types of typhoons: shutter type and slit type, both large and small. The front display is interchangeable and comes with a pre-printed "Local (navy blue)" part. Replacement front display parts for "Rapid" and "(white)" are included. Selectable car numbers and JR markings are included with transfer sheets. The head and taillights and front display are equipped with constant-on circuit boards and an ON-OFF switch. The head and taillights and front display are illuminated by white LEDs. The headlights use color prisms to illuminate in a color close to incandescent light. H-rubbers are reproduced in gray. The seats are reproduced in blue. Shoe linings and door rails are printed in silver. Features a flywheel-equipped motor, a new current collection system, and black wheels. Uses an M-13 motor. TN coupler (SP) included as standard.
