Pyrolytic ceramics are the latest generation of heat reflective coatings. The new coating reflects up to seven times more thermal radiation into the combustion chamber than uncoated windows.
The most important characteristics of the new coating:
Ceramic with pyrolytic coating represents a revolutionary solution compared to a panel without any coating. First of all, it ensures stability of the coating parameters throughout the entire service life of the furnace, high efficiency of the combustion process and exceptional durability of the coating.
The pyrolytic coating ensures a clear view of the flames. By reflecting thermal energy into the furnace, the combustion temperature increases. This helps reduce the appearance of soot on the glass or eliminate it completely. This way we eliminate the hassle of cleaning the glass and enjoy a clear view of the fire for longer. This also means greater design freedom, especially regarding fireplaces with a glass casing as well as those with larger panels.
Another important advantage of pyrolytically coated glass ceramic is its incomparable durability. After undergoing intensive testing, the coating retained its high efficiency in reflecting thermal radiation. It retained its functional stability even after constant exposure to a temperature of 650°C. This brings other advantages: higher temperatures in the combustion chamber mean less soot on the firebox glass, making it easier to clean.
The pyrolytic coating reflects a large part of the thermal radiation into the combustion chamber, which significantly reduces the heat escaping from the hearth. The effectiveness of the coating does not change over time. This contributes to a very efficient combustion process with low emissions.
The edges of the glass shapes are treated -
grinding with polishing. By grinding, we eliminate irregularities and sharpness of the processed edges and give them a noble appearance. Polishing the ground surfaces makes them shiny. We do this as standard when sanding edges.
