It washes perfectly both in the machine and by hand, has a light, unobtrusive scent, dissolves easily, leaves no residue, and takes up very little storage space. I buy it constantly, but mainly for light or synthetic fabrics. I don't think it washes heavier items well. And it's not very cost-effective: for a 6 kg machine, I use 4 pieces. Maybe these are low-foaming plates. After washing, there's a light scent of conditioner left.
