I took the blue ones a size larger for 60-62. These are even more comfortable. The elastic is only very tight. If you have a voluminous waist, think about it. I have a large bottom and hips, but a much more modest waist. It's comfortable for me. Mom said it presses too much on her.

Cool pants, fit perfectly in size, only I will insert elastic instead of the ties at the bottom. VERY happy with the purchase. Recommend.
