The Samurai saw uses the latest computer-based grinding machines to grind the sides of the saw blade, creating a shape that reduces friction and allows wood chips to be smoothly discharged from the cutting edge, significantly reducing the effort required to cut wood. Rather than being sharpened with a file, the sawtooth is formed by grinding the board with a borazon whetstone, resulting in a blade that is as sharp as a blade sharpened with a fine-tooth blue whetstone. This results in a sharpness similar to that of a knife, without damaging the cut edge of raw wood. The cutting edge is hard impulse (impact hardened), ensuring an extremely hard, long-lasting, comfortable edge. The body is molded from hard ABS resin, and the grip is wrapped in a special rubber called elastomer, which feels comfortable to the touch and provides a non-slip effect. A protrusion at the end of the handle prevents the saw from slipping out of your hand when cutting wood, eliminating the need to apply pressure to the handle. The blade and the entire handle are slightly curved, eliminating the need to hold down when pulling the saw. Simply place the blade on the wood and pull gently, achieving several times the sharpness with half the effort of conventional saws.
