This is an HDMI extender (transmitter) that can distribute and extend HDMI signals up to 40 meters at WUXGA (1920 x 1200 dots)/Full HD (1920 x 1080 dots) resolution, and up to 60 meters at 720P (1280 x 720 dots) resolution. *HDMI signals cannot be transmitted with this product alone. A separate receiver (VGA-EXHDR) is required.
High-quality audio signals can be extended at the same time as high-quality HDMI image signals.

This product supports HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). *The display must also support HDCP.
By connecting this product (transmitter) and the separately sold receiver (VGA-EXHDR) with two LAN cables (category 6, straight), you can extend the HDMI signal. (In order to enable accurate recognition between devices, a method is adopted in which the DDC signal and video/audio signals are separated and transmitted for extended periods.)
By using a LAN cable (category 6 straight) with a transmission frequency bandwidth of 250MHz, high-quality HDMI signals can be transmitted over long distances with minimal signal loss.
