In addition to the ES9038Pro dual configuration, it is equipped with the "THX AAA-788+" amplifier circuit jointly developed with THX. It has achieved both a high output of 3000mW (when balanced output, DC power supply mode) that overturns conventional wisdom, and an ultra-low noise of 123dB S/N ratio (when balanced output). The newly added DC power supply mode supplies a large current to the DAC/amplifier section by using the included dedicated DC adapter, allowing the M17 to operate at maximum performance and even drive low-efficiency headphones. In addition, by installing two USB ports, it is possible to separate connection to external devices and charging, allowing it to be used as a desktop audio media center.
