The electro-harmonix 5MM power amp is a pocket-sized power amp that replaces traditional guitar amps. Because it is extremely portable, it is ideal for performance situations where a high-power amplifier is not required, such as on stage, in the studio, or as a backup. One of the great things about the 5MM power amp, which produces 2.5 watts, is that you can easily get great drive and saturation. In addition to that, you can directly connect an 8-16Ω speaker cabinet. 5MM power amplifiers couldn't be simpler. The control consists of a Volume knob and a Bright switch. Turning on the Bright switch increases presence. Since it is a power amplifier, you can adjust the tone by placing a preamp, overdrive, and EQ in the front stage, but it can also be used alone.
