■ Why the COFIL Ceramic Filter Continues to Be Popular 1. No Paper or Cloth Filters Needed – Smooth Drip with 50-Micron Holes The ceramic filter contains countless tiny holes—about 50 microns in size (roughly the thickness of a human hair)—eliminating the need for paper or cloth filters. It is semi-permanently reusable, easy to clean, and hygienic.

2.Barista-Approved Aroma & Oils – Extracting the Full Flavor Paper filters are too fine to allow the natural oils from coffee beans to pass through. In contrast, COFIL’s slightly larger and perfectly sized pores allow these flavorful oils to pass, resulting in a richer and more aromatic cup of coffee.

3.Mellow Flavor from Infrared Ceramic Benefits – Removes Chlorine & Impurities The ceramic material emits far-infrared rays, which help remove off-flavors and enhance the depth and clarity of your brew. The result is a smoother taste, richer body compared to paper, and a noticeable aroma. When used with water, it can remove chlorine and impurities, producing a softer, more pleasant-tasting water. Enjoy deliciously soft coffee or water with every brew.

4. Smooths Tea & Alcohol: Great for Ready-Made Drinks Just like coffee and water, ready-made teas (green, black, oolong, herbal, health teas, etc.) and alcoholic beverages (sake, shochu, whiskey, wine, etc.) can be poured through COFIL. It filters out impurities, resulting in a cleaner, smoother taste. Note: Do not use whole tea leaves directly in the filter; they can expand and clog the pores, preventing liquid from passing through.

■Example Brewing Guide with COFIL Ceramic Filter 1.Set Up the Filter Place the filter securely, then add ground coffee. Recommended grind size: coarse to medium. Dosage guideline: 10g per cup (e.g., 20g for 2 cups, 26g for 3 cups).

2.First Pour – Bloom Slowly pour hot water just enough to wet the grounds, then wait about 30 seconds. The coffee will bloom and expand.

3.Second Pour – Brew After blooming, pour water in a “no” ( の ) shape from the center, being careful not to disturb the ring of grounds around the edge.

4.Finish & Serve Once you reach the desired extraction volume, remove the filter and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee!
