My size 39 is a very tight fit, my big toe is pressing against the end. Inside there is thin artificial black fur. I tried them on with white socks, then cleaned the fur off the socks. The fur sheds.

Boots for 37 took 39, they fit. The fur remains only on the toes, but they are not slippery, I went outside specifically to check. For a warm winter, good for this money.
