If the lamp is not connected to a USB power source, it works, but despite being fully charged for over 4 hours, the brightness of the lamp decreases significantly after about half an hour. When the lamp is connected to a USB power source, the lamp shines continuously. So: lamp very good, as long as it is connected to a power source with a cable!
