scorzonera seeds 2g - TORSEED
Scorzonera is called winter or black asparagus. The edible part is the storage root with white flesh. Its unique appearance will certainly surprise anyone who sees scorzonera in the garden or on a plate. The roots are up to 30 cm long, and when peeling, a sticky juice is released, so it is worth wearing gloves. In order not to lose their aesthetic value, it is worth immersing the peeled roots in water with lemon juice.
The taste of scorzonera is similar to asparagus, but it is spicier. It is a source of vitamins E, B and C. It also contains minerals needed for the proper functioning of the body. The most important ingredient is inulin, which lowers blood sugar and bad cholesterol levels. Scorzonera improves digestion and cleanses the body of toxins. Thanks to the potassium content, it helps regulate blood pressure.
