I've been trying to drink this tea for two months now and what I want to say is: it's impossible for good tea to smell like herring or scum - and that's normal. It seems to me that tea should still have different saturations, but floral notes, the smell of plants. But definitely not the smell of scum. It seems to me that something went wrong with this pu-erh during the fermentation stage. The tea is beautifully packaged. I counted 38 of these cubes. It's really invigorating. But it tastes like medicine (and I've come to terms with that), but the smell is really unpleasant.
