SENZO CLAD a unique line of SUNCRAFT products. The blades of the knives in this series are made of AUS-10 3-layer plated steel. It is a hard material (HRC 58 +/-1), with the same carbon content as 440C steel, but with less chromium. As a result, knives made of AUS-10 steel are more resistant to corrosion and more durable. By adding vanadium to the alloy, the sensitivity of the SENZO CLAD knives to abrasion is reduced. The blades in the SENZO CLAD line, as in the case of SENZO UNIVERSAL, have a full tang (full tango), embedded in the handle of the knife with rivets. Thanks to this, the grip of the tools is secure, and the tool itself remains perfectly balanced, cutting, chopping and grinding products with a force that perfectly corresponds to the pressure of the cook's hand. The handles of the products in this series are made of Pakkawood* in ebony. *Pakkawood is laminated birch or maple wood, impregnated with resin. They are characterized by very high resistance to heat and moisture, and have been specially developed for knife handles.
