Features You can easily and accurately measure narrow or deep places that cannot be measured with a dial gauge. Mitutoyo's unique new structure suppresses rattling of the probe holder and prevents deterioration of probe sensitivity and tracking performance. The pointer and carbide probe are weakly magnetic. It is less susceptible to magnetic environments. We also have a lineup of models with ruby (non-magnetic) probes. The ruby probe has several times more wear resistance than cemented carbide, and since it is a non-current material, it can be used safely in electrical discharge machines. The scale plate uses a universal font, the color of the scale plate, and the relationship between the pointer and scale line thickness have been reviewed to greatly improve visibility. The length of the probe is shown with an illustration on the scale plate. The large board has a flat shape that does not easily reflect external light. Plus, it's coated with a coating that resists scratches, dirt, and reflections. The integrated structure of the outer frame and the diameter plate prevents cutting fluid and oil from entering from the front of the scale plate and gaps. (However, it is not waterproof) A φ6 dovetail grooved stem (standard accessory) can be attached to the three dovetails on the main body. The mounting position can be adjusted according to the usage situation, greatly improving convenience. Finished product inspections are conducted based on JIS B7533:2015. Vertical/inclined/vertical types are inspected with the dial face up, and horizontal types are inspected with the dial face vertical to ensure accuracy.
