We pursue vintage sound by using custom-made variable resistors and inductors, as well as capacitors with hand-selected capacitance values.
By 3D scanning the old housing, we recreated the dimensions, feel, and impact on sound.
The voicing is based on an individual with a wide sweep range among the early V864s, and the harmonics of the first string produce a piercing sound.
