Hoop Earrings Without a Hinge and Their Use

Of hoop earrings with a design like these, there are two main variants - with and without a hinge. The earrings offered are hoop earringswithout a hinge, which is often problematic in such delicate silver items.

Hinged earrings are opened by pulling the closing pin (a thinner wire extending into the earring) from the side opposite the hinge. The most susceptible element to damage is the hinge itself, which can become damaged over time, depending on use.

The earrings offered here don't have this problem, and opening and closing the earrings involves gently spreading them apart (stretching them, as it were) at the stud, along the stud's axis, and then sliding the stud to the side.

Gently tilting it, you thread it through your ear, and then spreading it again to fit the stud inside the tube that forms the hoop. This is much easier to do than to describe :)

Other tips for hoop earrings

And after a while, when the earring stops closing tightly (i.e., after many times of putting it on and taking it off), you should, by grasping the stud area (on both sides), tighten the closed earring a little deeper than it's intended for wearing.

This way, we will reduce its circumference and improve its shape.

It is absolutely necessary to avoid pulling perpendicular to the stud (either sideways or up/down) without first spreading it. This can deform the stud and make wearing the earrings difficult, or even lead to the stud breaking.
