The Salewa Ortles Wall Trekking Backpack is a lightweight, durable 32-liter technical roll-top backpack for mountaineering, alpine climbing, and trekking. Tried, tested, and proven in the Dolomites, it's designed to let you organize your gear exactly how you like.
The Dry Back Contact suspension system features a padded EVA back panel and 3D channel ventilation for good airflow and back breathability. Low-profile split shoulder straps ensure comfortable carrying and maximum freedom of movement.
This pack features tube guides and a hydration port for hydration storage. The pack also features load-management straps, side compression straps, and a top strap with a secure magnetic buckle, all designed for a more stable carry.
As you'd expect, there are clever solutions for attaching trekking poles, ice tools, and both parallel and diagonal skis using the detachable straps included with the pack. For quick access to the pack's contents, in addition to the rolltop, there's direct access via a side zipper and a front compartment separated by a waterproof zipper.
You can also reconfigure it to reduce weight by removing the Internal Stabilizing Board (ISB) and hip belt padding. Furthermore, to ensure the Ortles Wall can handle high-altitude terrain, we've crafted it from durable and abrasion-resistant Regen Robic fabric, which is 60% more tear-resistant than standard nylon fabrics.
