ELI Around the City language game - version with additional instructions in Polish.Around the City is a board language game that allows players to test their general knowledge of English and learn vocabulary and expressions related to city life, infrastructure, urban transport, and road safety.Game type: Board gameDifficulty level: A2-B1There is a cardboard board with a path for players to move along, and 6 sets of cards that should be placed in stacks next to the board. An additional, seventh set of gray cards are random event cards. The players are divided into two teams, and then any player from team number 1 rolls the dice and moves around the board according to the number of dots drawn. The color of the space it stops on indicates the color of the card on which Team 2 reads aloud the question to the player or presents a task to complete. Providing a correct answer or solving a task results in the player's team receiving points according to the established scoring system. Next, a player from Team 2 rolls the die and completes the task on the card of the corresponding color, read/presented by Team 1. The team with the most points wins.The game ends when a player reaches the last space on the board. The end of the game can also be determined by a specific time limit. In this variant, the last space on the board will lead to the first, and movement around the board will occur in a loop.
