The pillow isn't as plump as shown online, but that's not a problem for us as it's meant for our child. The outer shell has a soft, fluffy material, the filling feels like that of a sofa cushion or stuffed animal and is soft. I'm curious to see how long it will take for the filling to lose its elasticity. Shipping was very fast. The "package" looked like a big ball.
