Features a fishing fit! This dramatically improves casting and rod control! (Fishing fit refers to a feature where the sleeves are attached at a higher angle than standard clothing, eliminating shoulder tightness during casting and rod work.)

The windcut film blocks out cold winds, providing excellent cold protection. It's said that cold winter winds can cause a "perceived temperature" difference of -5°C. A decrease in performance due to body chill can significantly affect your catch, especially when you're not fully protected, such as when going fishing after work. The material is also highly water-repellent, repelling light rain.

The hood completely covers your head, yet the peak design allows for clear visibility, and the drawcord allows for a snug fit. The high collar also keeps out cold winds around the neck. The lining from the hood to the collar is made of long-pile fleece for excellent warmth.

Pair it with the Windcut Pants (sold separately) to keep your feet warm and concentrate more on fishing. The front uses a Vislon waterproof zipper. *The zipper is waterproof. The surface of the jacket is water-repellent, but it is not completely waterproof.

Unlike typical rainwear fabrics, the soft and moist material makes it perfect for wearing to work and then heading out fishing in it!

This jacket is perfect for those late autumn, drizzling weather, when the wind is cold but not cold enough to warrant extra warmth.

This comfortable, moderately thick wind-cut jacket can be worn from chilly autumn/spring mornings to mid-winter offshore fishing, depending on the inner layer you choose. For mid-winter wear, we recommend the mazume heated vest.

The print on the hood glows in the dark, making it easy to see in low light.
