HobbyJAPAN Board Game Richard Garfield's King of Monsters Island Japanese Version

The King of Tokyo series is now available in an exciting cooperative game. In King of Monster Island, players take on the role of giant monsters. They must work together to defeat powerful bosses before their enemies on Monster Island complete the dimensional portals they've constructed.

Each turn, players roll up to three dice and use the resulting roll to deal damage to monsters, heal allies, gain energy, purchase cards, move around the island, summon human support, and increase their bravery.

The game itself controls the boss's actions. The boss uses the results of dice thrown into the volcano to unleash minions to attack nearby monsters. The boss's objective is to have the minions prepare the towers needed to create the portal. To win, players must defeat the boss before he activates the portal or before any of his allies are defeated. Failure will mean the destruction of the Earth.

This cooperative game is packed with highlights, including the fast-paced dice-rolling system continued from "King of Tokyo," unique and powerful boss characters with individual abilities, distinctive human factions that support monsters, and fascinating three-dimensional components.
