Drummer Dave Grohl was also renowned as a genius drummer, having played in numerous bands, including DC hardcore bands SCREAM and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. Formed in 1987, NIRVANA sparked the grunge boom. However, at the height of their popularity in 1994, Kurt Cobain took his own life at the young age of 27, and the band disbanded. Dave Grohl subsequently formed FOO FIGHTERS. This legendary band continues to captivate rock fans worldwide, even being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
