This expansion lets you experience the story of Catan even more deeply with four optional rules and five scenarios carefully selected by original author Teuber.
Each scenario comes with its own unique pieces and tiles, allowing for a more varied gameplay experience.
*The Merchant and Barbarian versions require the "Settlers of Catan Standard Edition."
Cannot be used in conjunction with the "Carry Case Edition," international versions, or previously released versions from other companies.
About "Settlers of Catan"
Settlers of Catan: Set on the uninhabited island of Catan, players build a settlement (house) as their base and then develop the entire island. In a development race against opponents, the first player to score 10 points (e.g., 1 settlement point) wins.
Specifically, the island produces five types of resources based on dice rolls, which can be used to build the next settlement. However, sometimes it's difficult to gather the necessary resources. In such cases, players can exchange resources with their opponents. Active communication will give them an advantage in the game.
This is the definitive board game with rules simple enough for elementary school students (ages 8 and up), yet addictive enough for adults too!
