The EFK-100XPB and EFK-100YCD feature forged carbon fiber, a material also used in luxury sports cars, for the case and dial, while the EFK-100YCD features a dial, capturing the world of luxury sports cars that continue to evolve in pursuit of ever-increasing performance, all in the signature EDIFICE styling. Forged carbon is a composite material made by hardening carbon fiber with resin and molding it under high temperature and pressure. Compared to metal, it is lighter and more rigid, making it a popular choice for sports cars demanding driving performance. This is Casio's first mechanical movement, designed to incorporate an emotional drive system like that of a car. The movement can be viewed through the see-through caseback, allowing you to enjoy the unique charm of mechanical movements. All EFK-100 series watches are equipped with sapphire crystal.
