(1)Q: I can't open this dremel Chuck. Used liquid wrench and try to open carefully. any suggestions?
A: The chuck only opens and closes while installed on the dremel threaded spindle. Re-install the chuck. Screw it down as far as it will go while depressing the button stop. To open the chuck keep the button stop depressed and unscrew. The chuck will open.
(2)Q: I have a Dremel model 240, is this compatible?
A: I can't find a Dremel model 240 but I believe all dremels have the sam size tips . It's my favorite addon on for my Dremel. You don't have to change or use any collet pieces again. It makes changing bits of any size fast and simple.
(3)Q: will this work with a Dremel 8220
A: Yes. It works great with mine. You still have to hold the button to hold the mounting bolt still, but the self adjusting bit works great.
