The cut-back area is sized so that it relieves the steady pressure on the shoulders that a horse may feel with other pads. By not allowing the saddle bars and rider's weight to press steadily against the horse's shoulders, this pad helps prevent related back, leg, and joint problems. Hose off or wash with soap and water, hang to dry.
